Dental Implants Stockport

If you have missing teeth, loose teeth, or ill-fitting dentures, then dental implants could be the perfect solution.

It happens. Teeth have to be extracted, or dentures haven’t felt as secure and now you’re just that bit less sociable than you were.

Going for implants is a bold move.  It’s bold because it may well be the ultimate solution to any lack of confidence you’ve had – about meeting new people, eating out, making presentations, going for a promotion or looking for a new relationship.  You know the sort of thing.

The Mall’s implant team at Stockport has a great reputation and so it should – the team is led by Dr Phil Broughton, who has over 20 years of experience of fixing thousands of implants, having worked alongside some of the most respected professionals worldwide.

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is a small titanium post that is placed into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth. It acts like a natural tooth root and, once in place, supports a crown or bridge to fill the gap left by the missing tooth. Over time, the implant fuses with the bone, providing a strong and secure base for the new tooth.

Dental implants look and feel like natural teeth. They help you eat and speak more comfortably and prevent problems like bone loss, which can happen when a tooth is missing. Implants are a long-lasting solution for replacing teeth and restoring your smile.

The Benefits of Dental Implants

  • Natural Look and Feel: Implants are designed to look, feel, and function like your natural teeth, giving you a confident smile.
  • Durability: With proper care, dental implants can last many years, often a lifetime, making them a long-term solution.
  • Improved Speech: Unlike dentures, which can slip or cause slurred speech, implants allow you to speak clearly and confidently.
  • Comfortable and Secure: Since they fuse with the bone, implants feel secure and comfortable, eliminating the discomfort of removable dentures.
  • Easier Eating: Dental implants function like natural teeth, allowing you to bite and chew your favourite foods without difficulty.
  • Prevents Bone Loss: Implants stimulate the jawbone, helping to prevent bone loss that can occur with missing teeth.
  • Protects Healthy Teeth: Unlike dental bridges, implants don’t require neighbouring teeth to be filed down, preserving your natural tooth structure.
  • Boosts Self-Esteem: Replacing missing teeth with implants helps restore your smile, improving your self-confidence and quality of life.

Incredibly, we can fit your new dentures in just one day, because we have that expertise, together with our exceptional on-site laboratory.  This means there’s no need for temporary dentures.

We use nearly invisible aligners from Invisalign , or tooth-coloured brackets and wires by Quick Straight Teeth, both of which are very popular and make metal braces seem like a thing of the past.

Composite bonding is applied to the surface of the teeth, often without the need to harm the tooth in any way. Used to straighten teeth, to provide smile makeovers, to cover any cracks or repair any chips.
